FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-Tuesday, BYU, Utah and Utah State each posted semifinalists on the Burlsworth Award Watch List. This award is annually presented to the most outstanding player in college football whose career began as a walk-on.

BYU is represented by sophomore safety Ethan Slade. Utah is represented by junior quarterback Bryson Barnes, a former Milford High School star, and Utah State is represented by junior kicker Elliott Nimrod.

Barnes has completed 57 percent of his passes for 769 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions this season for the Utes.

Slade has an interception and three defensed passes for the Cougars this season.

Nimrod has made 78 percent of his field goal attempts and 93 percent of his PAT attempts this season for the Aggies.
