BYU Men’s Volleyball Standout Named to Junior National Training Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Tuesday, BYU men’s volleyball sophomore libero Zach Hendrickson was named to the 2018 Men’s Junior National Training Team per an announcement from USA Volleyball.

He is one of 17 current team members of which 12 will be chosen to compete at the NORCECA Men’s U-21 Continental Championship from August 27-September 2 at Havana, Cuba.

Hendrickson and other aspirants for the squad will travel to the Chicagoland area Wednesday to practice at the Adversity Volleyball Club of the north Chicago suburb of Vernon Hills, Ill.

The full team will be named August 24 and will travel to Havana August 25.

As a 2018 freshman, Hendrickson started in 19 matches and collected 95 digs for an average of 1.38 digs per set.
