NEW ORLEANS-Tuesday, BYU quarterback Zach Wilson was named as one of eight quarterbacks throughout the nation as a star of the week by The Manning Award Committee.

Wilson was 13-18 for 232 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Cougars’ 55-3 rout of Navy Monday evening at Annapolis, Md.

The junior signal-caller led the Cougars to seven scores on the eight possessions he played for BYU, including six possessions ending in touchdowns.

The Cougars are next in action September 19 against Army at West Point, N.Y.
