BYU Football To Host California Saturday

PROVO, Utah-Saturday, BYU football seeks to improve to 2-0 as they host California in their first home game of the season at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

The Cougars are 3-1 against the Golden Bears all-time, including a 1-0 mark at Provo.

The series dates back to 1999 when BYU prevailed 38-28 at Provo.

This is a whiteout for the Cougars as they will be wearing white jerseys and pants. All fans are encouraged to wear white to the game.

The Golden Bears, under second-year coach Justin Wilcox, are 1-0 on the season, having defeated North Carolina 24-17 last Saturday at Berkeley, Calif.

The Cougars have 25 players on their roster from California, including star tailback Squally Canada and standout receiver Dylan Collie.
