Offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes stated that it looks like Tanner Mangum and Zach Wilson will be the Cougars’ signal-callers most likely to receive the most reps.

Mangum started eight games in 2017, tossing for 1,540 yards and eight touchdowns against nine interceptions.
Wilson is a freshman out of Corner Canyon High School of Draper, Utah and had nearly 3,800 yards of total offense, accounting for 32 total touchdowns with the Chargers last season.
Other candidates for the job include sophomore Joe Critchlow and freshmen Jaren Hall, Stacy Conner and Baylor Romney.
Grimes also said he felt good about last Saturday’s scrimmage, but he wants to increase the yards per carry average to a minimum of five yards.
