BRIDGEVIEW, Ill.-Wednesday, BYU football confirmed the road game at Northern Illinois October 24 will actually occur at a neutral site.

The Cougars’ game against the Huskies is officially the 2020 Huskie ChiTown Showdown slated for SeatGeek Stadium at Bridgeview, Ill., roughly 16 miles southwest of Chicago.

SeatGeek Stadium hosts the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League and is the former home of the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer.

This is the second all-time game between the Cougars and Huskies.

Northern Illinois won the first game in the series, 7-6, at LaVell Edwards Stadium in 2018.

This represents the first time the Cougars have ever played a game in Illinois.
