SAN BRUNO, Calif.-Monday, BYU men’s basketball senior forward Yoeli Childs was named as the West Coast Conference’s player of the week for the second consecutive week.
In Saturday’s 81-64 win over Pepperdine, Childs amassed a career-best 38 points and tied his season-high on the glass with 14 rebounds.
Childs made 17-27 shots from the field, 1 of 3 from 3-point range and 3-3 at the foul line.
The Cougars have earned the No. 2 seed in the West Coast Conference tournament and return to action March 9 for a 9:30 pm MDT tip-off.
