SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, numerous reports confirmed that Utah guard Both Gach will be leaving the Utes’ program.

The 6-6 Gach averaged 10.7 points last season for the 16-15 (7-11 in Pac-12 play) Utes and has not yet withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft.

If he opts to return to college, Gach, a junior out of Austin, Minn., has confirmed he will enter the NCAA transfer portal.

This is not surprising as Gach grew increasingly unhappy last season with his role on head coach Larry Krystkowiak’s squad.
