(Fresno, CA)  —  Jose Briceno homered in the ninth but it wasn’t enough as the Bees lost 4-3 to the Grizzlies in Fresno.

Jake Jewell took the loss for Salt Lake, which fell to 22-and-17 on the season.  The Bees will try to avoid the four-game sweep today.

In other Bees news, pitcher Felix Pena is back in the big leagues after being recalled by the Angels yesterday.

He took the roster spot of Keynan Middleton, who was placed on the 10-day disabled list.
