SALT LAKE CITY-Jordyn Adams recorded his first home run at the Triple A level and the Salt Lake Bees achieves a series win over Sacramento, besting the River Cats 8-3 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark.
Adams recorded 4 RBI overall for the Bees with Jo Adell driving in two more runs in victory for Salt Lake.
Kenny Rosenberg earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake, posting six strikeouts in five innings of work for the Bees, who improved to 2-1 on the season.
Austin Wynns homered in the loss for Sacramento as the River Cats fell to 1-2.
Salt Lake returns to action Tuesday to begin a series at Albuquerque against the Isotopes.
