PROVO, Utah-Friday, BYU cross country/ track and field standout, senior Anna Camp, was named as the co-women’s cross country athlete of the year during the Y-Awards Ceremony on BYUtv.
Camp, a former Millard HIgh School star, won the women’s 1500-meter run national title in June.
Furthermore, Camp led the women’s 2020 cross country team to a Division I national championship and a third consecutive West Coast Conference title.
She was named as a cross country All-American by placing 11th in the national championship meet this past March at Stillwater, Okla.
Camp also scored for the Cougars’ squad to help the team to win each race they competed at this past season.
