MADISON, Wis.-Saturday, as the NCAA men’s and women’s Division I cross country championships occurred at the University of Wisconsin, former Millard High star Anna Camp had a chance to represent BYU’s women’s squad.
Camp placed 167th overall in the women’s 6-K, posting a time of 21:34.80.
Camp had a successful fall season, finishing 20th overall at the NCAA Mountain Regional championships hosted by Provo’s East Bay Golf Course November 9.
Camp is only a sophomore so with this experience under her belt, she only promises to get better as a key member of head coach Ed Eyestone’s squad.
Camp will likely compete in both the indoor and outdoor track seasons as well, so she will presumably have many more opportunities to excel for the Cougars.
