(Springdale, UT) — Officials at Zion National Park are asking for patience this holiday weekend. Monday is Memorial Day and with it comes an extended weekend and heavy traffic at the park. The park told those planning to visit “to be realistic about what to expect,” such as long lines and the potential for limiting vehicle entry to keep traffic congestion down. More than 96-thousand people visited Zion during the previous Memorial Day Weekend and it’s one of the most popular parks in the country.
