(Beaver, UT) — A Beaver woman faces charges for causing the death of her infant son. Arrest records show Beaver County Sheriff’s deputies were called out to the home of 32-year-old Tawna Steed last month on a report that her 23-day-old boy had stopped breathing. The child was later pronounced dead at a hospital and the medical examiner ruled the baby had suffered blunt force trauma to his ribs and head after he had been shaken. During interviews, Steed’s father told investigators he saw Steed shake the child at least twice.
