ROY, Utah (AP) — Firefighters say the body of a 60-year-old woman was found inside a home destroyed by a fire on Sunday. Fire crews extinguished the fire in Roy north of Salt Lake City and then spent several hours shoring up the home before it was safe to enter and search for the homeowner. The body of Jamie Allen was found in a bedroom near the back of the house. In a statement, Roy’s fire department said its thoughts and prayers were with the Allen family. The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
