ROY, Utah (AP) — Firefighters say the body of a woman was found inside a home destroyed by a fire on Sunday. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire in Roy north of Salt Lake City but then spent several hours shoring up the home before it was safe to enter and search for the homeowner. A cat was also found dead in the home. The woman’s name hasn’t been released by authorities yet. The state fire marshal also responded to the home to investigate the cause of the fire. Roy’s deputy fire chief says it could take some time before a cause is determined.
