Woman dies after hitting deer, rolling near Koosharem

One women is dead after an accident Sunday afternoon, but a child in the same car, escaped injury.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, Olivia Clark of Teasdale was traveling East near Koosharem on SR-24.

Clark tried to serve to miss a deer in the road, but still ended up hitting the deer and rolled.

Although she was wearing a seat belt, she died at the scene.

A two-year-old boy in the back seat received no injuries.

Officials don’t believe speed or impairment were a factor in the crash.
