(Richfield, UT) – A woman from St. George faces charges for causing a wrong-way crash that killed her 12-year-old daughter. Court records show 33-year-old Cami Jean Aparicio was driving under the influence early Sunday morning on I-70 in Sevier County. Aparicio hit the front side of a big rig that tried to swerve out of the way, and then sideswiped its trailer before being thrown to the side of the road. UHP says the suspect’s older daughter was thrown from the car and found dead, while her nine-year-old daughter was taken to Primary Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
