(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Winter Games are returning to Salt Lake City in 2034. The International Olympic Committee made the announcement this morning. Utah Governor Spencer Cox and Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall have been in Paris meeting with committee members to bring the games back to the city that hosted them in 2002. The 2030 Winter Olympics have tentatively been awarded to the French Alps.
