Fire crews are working to suppress a new wildfire in Kane County. The Strawberry Fire was reported July 20 around 2:00 p.m. and is burning near the Mammoth Creek Road in Kane County.

As of the morning of July 21 the fire has burned around 43 acres and is 0% contained. No structures in the area are threatened and no evacuations are in effect. Forest Service Road 1745 is temporarily closed.
