In the evening of Sep. 21 a new fire began to burn along State Highway 153 about 10 miles east of Beaver. The 3 Creeks Fire began around 5 p.m. on Sep. 21 and crews began to establish a hose lay on the north end of the fire that same night.

As of 9:00 a.m. on Sep. 23 the fire has burned around 60 acres and is 30% contained. The fire is believed to be human caused but is still under investigation. No structures have been lost or are currently threatened and there are currently no closures or evacuations.
