(Kaysville, UT) — Friends and family are remembering an eight-year-old girl who died during a Fourth of July parade in Kaysville. A vigil for Macie Hill was held last night in the parking lot of the cheer studio where she was a member. Those attending the vigil wore pink and released yellow balloons into the air to honor the eight-year-old. Hill died Monday when a vehicle hit her as she marched with her cheer squad during the parade.
