Veterans Honor Pass Changes Go Into Effect Wednesday

(Salt Lake City, UT) — More veterans with disabilities will be able to visit Utah’s state parks at no cost beginning next week. State lawmakers expanded the number of veterans eligible for the Veterans with Disabilities Honor Pass during this year’s session. Starting Wednesday, any honorably discharged veteran with a service-related disability is eligible for the pass. The pass allows the veteran and up to seven guests to enter state parks at no charge. More information about applying for the pass is available on the Utah State Parks website.
