Utah Senate Approves Bill To End Local Gun Regulations

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A bill that would end the ability of local governments to implement their own gun regulations has cleared the Utah Senate. The chamber voted along party lines to approve Senate Bill 115 yesterday. The bill makes it clear that cities and counties cannot make their own policies when it comes to firearms because that power rests with the state government. The bill now goes to the House for consideration.
