(Salt Lake City, UT) — Numbers for the 2022 wildfire season in Utah show a drastic drop-off in wildfires. Firefighters have so far only had to respond to 181 wildfires, after responding to more than three-hundred fires at this same time in both 2021 and 2020. Both state and federal fire officials warn that four-out-of-five wildfires this year are human caused.
