Teachers have been teaching classes through remote learning since the middle of March due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and it looks like that will continue.
Utah Gov. Gary Herbert announced Apr. 14 that Utah’s public and charter schools will continue their soft closure through the end of this school year. This announcement came just over one month after the initial announcement from the governor for statewide soft closures of schools.
In the announcement Gov. Herbert stated that “this was not an easy decision to make.”
