Utah School Board To Have Closed Door Session To Discuss Natalie Cline

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah School Board will hold a closed door meeting today to discuss Natalie Cline. The school board member has been facing backlash for nearly a week since falsely claiming a high school student was transgender on Facebook. The School Board only has the power to release a statement condemning the actions for now as the state legislature is looking at ways to impeach Cline. The board has received at least 180 complaints about the now deleted post since February 8th. The Governor and Lieutenant Governor released a joint statement saying she embarrassed the state and demanded action.
