(Salt Lake City, UT) – Utah political analysts are saying any reports that Mitt Romney is running for Senate are very premature. The “Atlantic” magazine reported yesterday that the former Republican presidential candidate may run to replace Senator Orrin Hatch next year. An analyst at the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics says any report about a Romney run are just rumors until Hatch decides if he will try for an eighth term in the Senate. The head of the state Republican Party agrees, saying the Romney rumors are “just chatter” until the former Massachusetts governor actually makes a move to run.Â
