Utah Officials, Sen. Lee Push Back On Election Fraud Claims

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah election officials and the campaign of Republican Senator Mike Lee are pushing back against claims of election fraud from a state lawmaker. Republican Representative Phil Lyman made a Facebook post Sunday morning, claiming he had received reports that machines switched votes from Lee to primary opponent Becky Edwards. Lyman later claimed the votes were based out of Davis and Wasatch counties. Utah Elections Director Ryan Cowley says there is no evidence to back those reports and that state elections are “secure and accurate” ahead of the primary.
