(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Cox says Utah is likely to join several other states in a lawsuit to block a rule implementing COVID-19 safety rules at larger businesses. The Biden Administration announced yesterday that companies with at least 100 employees have until January 4th to comply with the new rules. Workers must be vaccinated or get tested weekly to determine their COVID-19 status. The governor said yesterday that he feels the new rule is unconstitutional and could hurt Utah’s economy.
