(Salt Lake City, UT) — A state lawmaker is introducing a bill that would prevent local governments and the state of Utah from implementing vaccine mandates. The bill from Republican State Representative Robert Spendlove would apply to all vaccines, not just COVID-19 shots. The bill would not prevent Utah schools from implementing their own vaccination requirements. Governor Spencer Cox indicated yesterday that he would not support the bill.
