(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is joining six other states in a lawsuit challenging a vaccine mandate for federal contractors. State leaders announced Saturday that they were joining the lawsuit, saying that Utah companies would be harmed if forced to comply with the mandate. Supply chain issues, economic damage and potential job losses are cited as major reasons for filing suit against the Biden Administration rule. Utah leaders have vowed to file suit against the administration if it follows through on a rule that would require private businesses with more than 100 employees to require vaccinations for their workers.
