(Gunnison, UT) — Inmates at the Central Utah Correctional Facility’s sewing shop are working together to help people in need. They’re designing and sewing backpacks, diaper bags, and other items so they can be donated to local charities. In just this year alone, they sewed and donated a total of 500 backpacks to the Utah Food Bank. The inmates say they look forward to the charity event each year.
