Utah GOP Elects New Chairman

(Sandy, UT)  –  A new man is in charge of the state’s GOP.  Delegates picked Rob Anderson, the former chairman of the Davis County Republicans, during their annual convention on Saturday.  Anderson said he wants to drop a lawsuit the party has pending against a law that lets political candidates get around the nominating process that involves delegates, according to KSL-TV.  Anderson is also hoping to perform an audit on the party’s financials sometime soon. Â
