(Salt Lake City, UT) — Keep the New Year’s Eve parties small to prevent spreading COVID-19 according to Intermountain Healthcare’s Dr. Eddie Stenehjem. He says people need to be tested for coronavirus before attending anything in order for parties to be safe. Stenehjem says the increase in cases the last several days was expected because of a backlog of tests and people gathering with family and friends for Christmas. 3,563 new cases were reported in Utah yesterday.
