(Washington, DC) — Utah’s Republican congressional delegation is remaining united in its support of Kevin McCarthy’s bid to be Speaker of the House. Congressmen Blake Moore, Burgess Owens, Chris Stewart and John Curtis supported the California congressman during three separate votes yesterday. A group of hardline conservatives is vowing never to support McCarthy’s election and has so far blocked his path to the Speaker’s chair. More voting is scheduled for later today.
