Utah Children’s Justice Center Gets Big Donation From Mormon Church

(West Jordan, UT)  –  A group that helps young people feel safe after being abused is getting a big donation from the Mormon Church. The Utah Children’s Justice Center received a 120-thousand-dollar check from the Church’s Primary, Young Women and Relief Society organizations last week. A first counselor in the Young Women’s General Presidency said the donation would help those who had suffered abuse to recover and move forward with their lives. The money will help establish on-site medical services at eight of the Justice Center’s 22 Utah locations.Â
