Utah Among 41 States Denying Request For Private Voter Information

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah’s lieutenant governor says he will not provide private voter information to a national commission on voter fraud. Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox announced last week that he will gladly provide public records to the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity. However, Cox said in a statement that he will only give information already available to the public and disregard any requests for information that is kept private. Forty-one states have said they will not give information to the commission, which has requested names, addresses, dates of birth and Social Security numbers of registered voters in each state.
