(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is joining nearly two-dozen states supporting a federal lawsuit aimed at overturing the Biden administration’s immigration policy. Attorney General Sean Reyes on Thursday joined a coalition of 23 states in filing an amicus brief in a lawsuit filed by Florida. The suit opposes a Biden administration policy that allows migrants to be released quickly with instructions to report to immigration officials at a later date.
