(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah added more than 43-thousand jobs over the past 12 months. The latest jobs and unemployment report shows the economy added 43-thousand-500 jobs from April, 2022 through last month. And the state’s unemployment rate held steady at two-point-three percent. The Utah Department of Workforce Services reported nearly all industry sectors are growing and the low unemployment rate indicates hiring continues to be strong.
