UT Red Cross Volunteers Help With Relief Efforts From Hurricane Helene

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Red cross volunteers in Utah are stepping up to help in the wake of Hurricane Helene. A team flew out yesterday just before the storm slammed into Florida last night at a Category Four, leaving a trail of destruction. It’s now a tropical storm and expected to bring flooding as it moves through Georgia and the Carolinas today. Volunteers are teaming with 350 disaster workers from all over and will likely be gone for up to two weeks.
