(Salt Lake City, UT) — The University of Utah is joining an International Olympic Committee group researching new treatments for sports injuries. The committee announced yesterday that the university is one of 11 organizations that will become an IOC research center through 2026. The research will be overseen by the IOC’s Medical and Scientific Commission. The university will partner with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and a Vail, Colorado institute for research in the United States.
