University Of Utah Police Investigating Possible Hate Crime

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The University of Utah Police Department is investigating a possible hate crime. The university says a contractor was the target of a racial slur at a campus residence hall in September. Two students reportedly shouted at the contractor and then threw sunflower seeds and coffee pods at him. The university says the two students were disciplined, but the contractor made a report to police earlier this month.
