A Utah Highway Patrol trooper has been accused of sexually assaulting a teenager after allowing her to drink alcohol. Bronson Wood, age 46, was booked into the Sevier County Jail on suspicion of felony sexual assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Richfield police shared Wood inappropriately touched a 19-year-old woman, his kids friend, on Mar. 18, 2023. According to police documents, this happened at Wood’s home. The woman said she was initially hesitant to report the incident because of Wood’s position as a Utah trooper, telling investigators she didn’t think she would be believed. Wood was placed on administrative leave as an outside agency investigates the incident.
