(Nephi, UT) — A driver near Nephi failed to learn their lesson while speeding on I-15. UHP says a trooper caught the driver going 111 miles per hour on Wednesday evening. The trooper cited the man and let him go, but another trooper caught the same person traveling 105 miles per hour just ten minutes later. Under a new law passed this year, fines for driving over one-hundred miles per hour go up an extra 50-percent. Those drivers could also face misdemeanor charges.
