(Salt Lake City, UT) — State-operated COVID-19 testing sites across Utah will permanently close throughout this week. The Utah Department of Health says the move comes as the state implements its Steady State response due to declining rates of hospitalizations and new infections. UDOH also notes the availability of at-home tests, antiviral pills and wastewater surveillance as reasons to close down testing sites.
