Two people are recovering from injuries after a lightning strike in Millard County Thursday night.

The Millard County Sheriff’s office in a press release says,  a father and daughter were struck by lightning while working a pair of stilts at the Utah Territorial Statehouse.

CPR was done on the father, who regained a pulse but required artificial respiration during transport to the hospital. The daughter regained a disoriented consciousness and was also transported by a second ambulance.

Both patients were then transferred via helicopter to another hospital for specialty care.

There was no damage to the Statehouse building.
