Two individuals have been arrested in Juab county suspected of being involved in the death of a woman.

In a post to their Facebook page on Aug. 22, the Juab County Sheriff’s Office shared that on that same day just before 1:00 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at the Park and Pump gas station in Mona.

Upon investigating with the Nephi Police Department a deceased female was found in a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Two individuals were arrested due to their suspected involvement in the victims death.

David Manuel Mestas, age 26 from Sioux Falls South Dakota, and Richard Anthony Sanchez, age 26 from Rapid City South Dakota were both booked into the Juab County Jail.

The victim has been transported to the Utah State Medical Examiners Office to confirm their identity and to determine an official cause of death.
