Officials are monitoring a propane leak after a train derailed in Juab County Saturday Morning.

A Union Pacific train of 23 cars has released an unknown amount of propane after one car overturned about six miles South of Eureka.

Multiple emergency crews are responding and Juab County fire is collecting air samples.

People are being asked to avoid the area of the turnoff to the Little Sahara Recreation Area, according to Pleasant Grove firefighters.
