(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Local Governments Trust and Georgetown University Law are teaming up to bring a police training program to the Beehive state. The program is called ABLE project, which stands for Active Bystander Law Enforcement. In the first week, 60 officers from 20 agencies participated. The training’s goal is to equip officers with the skills to better prevent misconduct and officer-involved tragedies.
